Limited Edition Archival Pigment Print
This original composition features Ithuriel’s Spear, Butterfly Mariposa Lilies and other weeds and wildflowers picked in the foothills of California toward the end of spring, 2020, as the flowers were beginning to fade, but just before going to seed.
Once picked and pressed, a process that ensues over the course of a few months, artist Tricia Paoluccio then composes her botanical collages by first placing each specimen, one by one, on watercolor paper, then glues carefully to secure her design. From there, her art is captured by by a Hasselblad H6D 400 camera, the highest resolution camera available through ArtSpring. After an exact capture is secured, a Master File is created with color and tonality adjustments to match the original art. Test strips are used to refine the look and to ensure the reproduction is truly faithful to the actual colors of the wildflowers. The approved artwork is then printed on acid free, cotton base rag papers with a deckled edge, as well as archival pigments. Only 7 prints of each size exist, and each piece is signed and numbered.
Your fine art print will last a lifetime!
