My mission as an artist has always been to create works, which are both spiritual in nature and universal in meaning. I offer a serene interpretation of the natural world with an emphasis on life – giving elements through the use of abstraction, color and texture. My artwork evokes the essence of nature: vast fields, enclosed caves and dramatic waterfalls, all of which can be experienced simultaneously. Themes such as “The Universal Elements” run throughout my work. Tapping into such thoughts makes my works accessible to people from many cultures with different values and experiences. Having my artwork collected in many parts of world and lived in San Francisco, Venice and Shanghai, has given meaning to my life as an artist, spanning decades of dedicated work.
